What a wonderful thing to now see Bald Eagles on a
somewhat regular basis; living in Catonsville and
looking skyward for 29 years, I never expected this
level of comeback.  Three cheers for Ms. Carson!

I have spotted adult and immature eagles this year
over the non-tidal Patapsco from Elkridge to Ellicott
City to the more common fishing hole of Liberty
reservoir.  Yesterday, one stood sentry over the big
Halethorpe pond and Baltimore County's "western
acceptance facility", something like a recycling
poster come to life.
