Morning all,

 

Sad news from Fort Washington.  This morning I found the male Baltimore
Oriole dead on my patio.  He was such a beautiful bird and will be missed.
My best guess is that he flew into the patio door, probable spooked ay a
Cooper's Hawk that has also been seen here a couple of times this winter.
The top of his bill was split and hanging somewhat sideways.

 

I wonder if the female will stay.

 

I did see the albino Junco yesterday.
