Greetings,

I just got back from successfully seeing the Clay-colored Sarrow outside of
Havre de Grace, MD in Harford County. The bird was at the location where has
been seen the most (3/4 of the way down the hedge on the back side). It
sent time feeding on the millet and flying into the brambles. It would disapear
for ten minutes or so from time to time only to reemerge. It really is a nice
little bird with very handsome markings.

Is this a reviewable bird in MD? -I would imagine that it is...

I can not take credit for finding the bird on my own. The bird was being
viewed when I arrived the Hills, from Howard County and a gentleman named
Barry, from Martinburg, WV.

There was also a gorgeuos Northern Harrier working the field! -bonus! That
bird looked to me to be an immiture male.

There was also at least one Winter Wren working the creek at the site...

Good Birding,
Chris Starling
North East, MD

PS: I had two or three Hermit Thrushes in my yard this morning...
