As Norm has very gently pointed out, it is rather unlikely that the flocks of 
peeps we saw at Blackwater were Semipalmated Sandpipers.  We didn't have 
great looks at them (and aren't peep experts), and I misread the lines in the 
Yellow Book when checking this morning.  

Sorry if my earlier post caused any undue excitement among shorebird lovers 
out there.
