On Wednesday (24 Jan), I made a quick survey of the Cambridge
Choptank waterfront. No new species since previous reports but the
large quantities of Canvasback, Surf Scoters, Lesser Scaup, and
Long-tailed Duck are still in evidence. Someone must be feeding the
ducks at Oakley Street-they're tame and come up so close I couldn't
focus my long lens on them. Got some great photos of the lone
Redhead there.

On Thursday (25 Jan), I spent the morning at Blackwater. Best bird
of the day was a House Wren along the Marsh Edge Trail.

Best,
Norm Saunders
