Parke John and I set out to hopefully run into a nice flock of Horned Larks.
We headed down rt 313 out of Millington. We found a few flocks here and
there. Mostly small numbers of birds. We got about 1 mile out of Barclay
heading South on 313 and there was a flock of 280 Larks on the Left hand
side of the road. We did have 1 Lapland Longspur in the mix. That would have
been around 9:30 this am.
