On the way home from the eastern shore yesterday, we spotted a lone male ring-neck pheasant on the right side (heading north) of Rt. 213 in Cecil County at the top of the hill just north of the Bohemia River bridge. Don't know if that's unusual but it's the first time I've seen one outside of a refuge.

Also, while crossing the Rt 95 bridge southbound over the Susquehanna, we spotted a large white shape sitting high up in a tree on the Harford County side. Now it was dusk, snowing, foggy and we were travelling at highway speeds, but thought I'd report it in case somebody else wants to take a look. We couldn't find anyway to get around there to take another look.
