On the sqirrel watch, we have had two that seem to have lost the longer hairs 
from shoulders to hind quarters, exposing the shorter dark gray hairs 
beneath.   The base of the tail is completely naked and I interpret this as a sign of 
some disease as the rest of the family of five look completely normal.   I've 
never seen this before.
