Hi Everybody,

The Kent County Bird Club will hold its Mid-winter Bird Count on Sunday
11 February. There should be many good areas to choose from in this
varied county. Among the areas we have been unable to effectively cover
over the last few years are eastern Kent County, the best part of the
county for winter field birds such as Lapland Longspur and pipit; the
Sassafras River valley, including such good waterfowl spots as the
Galena Mill Pond and Turners Creek; and Still Pond Creek and Worton.
Please get in touch with us ahead of time so we can plan the day and
assign territories. We hope to have a good turnout.

Good birding,

Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin
