Early yesterday morning, I noticed the homemade suet in the bluebird feeder* 
on the deck, was low. I put a fresh chunk inside.

This morning the suet had been pecked into a round ball and was sitting 
OUTSIDE the feeder on the bannister.

Now, how did that happen?

*Bluebird feeders have plexiglass sides with a roof and enclosed ends. Each 
end has a 1 1/2" opening.
