I hope there's a lot of room at this venue because it should be a fabulous program.

Subject: Re: [MDOSPREY] Upcoming Lecture: "Discovery of a Lost World"
Since Gail could not attach the photos/flyer in her post to MDOsprey,
she sent it to me and I have posted it at
http://birds.southernspreadwing.com/flyer.pdf
The photos, particularly of one new-to-science bird, are indeed spectacular.
By the way, I had to re-create the layout of the flyer, because the text
and some font info and the photos came through but the layout didn't. So
if you don't like the text, blame the AA Co. bird club. If you don't
like the layout, blame me. :)

Hi all --
I am forwarding this message as I am sure many of you will want to
attend this lecture by Dr. Bruce Beehler, who made headines last year
with the remarkable discoveries in West Papua. Bruce is of course also a
local birder and organizer of the annual Warbler Marathon, as well as an
occasional vistor to the Rock Creek DC patch.
Unfortunately I could not also forward the color photos accompanying
Gerald Winegrad's email to me -- very spectacular!
