Bill Rakowski asks about the probability of Cooper's Hawk in Baltimore
City.

Bill, first off, Cooper's Hawks are present throughout Maryland
throughout the year. There are breeding records for this species in
every county (and likely within the District of Columbia, as well).
It is likely one of the more common raptors in Maryland. Sightings
such as the one you had are great whenever and wherever they happen
though. Congrats on getting a good look at the pair of birds!

Best,
