This morning the Baltimore Bird Club had a field trip to the Marshy
Point Nature Center in eastern Baltimore County. Dundee Creek was frozen
and we saw no ducks. However, we had long, close looks at the Fox
Sparrow, the 2 Tree Sparrows and one of the 4 Hermit Thrush which were
on and below the bird feeders. Marshy Point Nature Center, located on
the coastal plain, is easy to reach. Once past Martin's Airport on
Eastern Avenue, it is only a few miles to Marshy Point Road.
In addition, the 2 adult Bald Eagles soaring overhead were a lovely sight.
