late this afternoon I decided to try my luck birding around
Tuckahoe State Park and the Ridgely fields .
The lake above the Dam was frozen birds at the lake

Canada Geese 4 with more flyovers
mallard 19 in the marshy area on the Queen Annes county side of the
lake
Tundra Swan 14 flyovers
Robins 25 near cherry lane

I went to the Sparks road , Mason Branch road area for larks and longspurs
not much there but several flocks of Snow Geese totaling 200 and
several more Canadas

Next I tried Marblehead Road north of Ridgely next to the old cattle
farm and found a few Horned Larks then a much larger flock of Larks flew
in and settled near me. Scoping them turned up

Horned Lark 150
Lapland Longspurs 5 one male starting to molt in the black on its
chest and the rich chestnut
on top of its head .

Happy Birding
