I don't know what happened to the post I sent in yesterday, I do not see it.  I 
hope it is lost in cyberspace and it reappears, but FYI, I saw an immature 
Golden Eagle yesterday at Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary (Croom) at 3 PM.  It 
drifted off toward the river, heading southeast.

For what its worth I just read the 2006 Locality Report (just posted!), and I'm 
amazed how many great birds were found last year in MD!  Also, a minor point 
to clarify re: my "yard list" - although I use "banding codes" in mentioning the 
2006 bird highlights in my yard - I have never done any banding here!   I just 
like using the abbreviations when writing my lists.
