Hi All,

The Kent County Bird Club will have a half-day trip to Chesapeake 
(formerly Remington) Farms on Saturday 24 February. We will meet at 8:00 
AM at the Dollar General Store parking lot between Spring St. and 
Philosopher's Terrace.

Chesapeake Farms (formerly Remington Farms) is a well-known 
privately-managed property with a focus on wildlife habitat enhancement. 
The club has been granted permission to bird the wildlife auto tour 
ahead of its official opening later in the spring. The area is superb 
for waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds, particularly sparrows, including 
some of the largest wintering flocks of White-crowned Sparrows in Kent 
County. We hope to see you Saturday.
