Made a quick trip to Schoolhouse Pond in Upper Marlboro on my way
into work this morning. The Trumpeter Swan with the yellow leg band,
962, was back. Oddly, it was actually across the street from the pond,
in the grass close to the PG County building.
 
    Not a lot else of note around:
 
    _ Ring-Necked Duck, 1 (first time I've ever seen one here).
    _ Hooded Merganser, 1 male
    _ American Coot, 2
    _ Eastern Bluebird, 3, including 1 immature
