Hi all,
I had a small flock of about 20 robins or so in my yard on Monday.
On the day of the storm, I saw a solitary Red-shouldered Hawk sitting on the
electric line off of York Road. He was visible from the Hunt Valley
Wal-Mart parking lot. He was sitting there looking like he hadn't a care in
the world, nor was he concerned with the snow.
Also on Monday, I heard what I believe to be a Killdeer (?). I was in the
Wal-Mart parking lot, about to get in my car when I heard him. Between the
parking lot and York Road there is a small "pond", but I didn't go down to
it to investigate.
Good birding,
Richard
