With all the "Sings of Spring" messages yesterday, Feb. 28, I was inspired to 
drive around Haines Point, Washington, DC to see what might be around.

Found a Merlin perched in a "dead tree" near parking area 11 at 6:05pm.
He perched there a few minutes and then dropped off and speed 
across the golf course look for his last meal of the day.
