Hi all , 

I birded at Kinder Park after work today There were  2 Scaup in the big pond 
by the entrance , 1 Redtailed hawk in his usual dead tree behind the 
pond ,Turkey vulture, Northern flicker, Northern cardinal, Redwinged blackbird, 
American robin, Darkeyed junco, Whitethroat sparrow, European starling, 
American crow.   I thought i might see the return of the Osprey , but no , no 
Osprey , not even an Osprey nest, in fact not even a light post for the Osprey 
nest. The remnants of the nest lay on the ground beneath where they once 
stood . Does anyone know why all the light posts are gone ? It wont be the 
same with out the Osprey there.
