"First of season" (FOS) Tree Swallows have made their way up here into the
Great White North (an old, inside joke!). About a half a dozen Tree
Swallows "swarming" over the Otter Creek wetlands near the intersection of
MD Rt. 40 and 24 in Edgewood, MD, Harford County are right on schedule.
What a weird winter; very mild into January, then it seemed an entire winter
wrapped up into February, and then a semi-mild first weekend of March. I'm
sure the weather the rest of this week will have us longing for spring!
