After seeing Debbie Terry's post, I headed over to Loch Raven Reservoir
in Baltimore County this evening to look for the Red-necked Grebe she
found. At the #1 bridge (or at least, from the park-like area along
Loch Raven Drive where people like to feed the geese - for those, who
like me, never remember the bridge numbers) I saw 2 Red-necked Grebes
near the opposite shore, in the general vicinity of 4 Horned Grebes and
a Common Loon.

also earlier in the day I had a calling Barred Owl and my FOS Eastern
Phoebe on the NCR trail near Phoenix, MD.

Cheers,
