Hi all,

Upon following the discussion about the LEOW's I also am lead to agree that the birds are likely nesting in this area, from the info I gleaned from my 'owl' book.(Lawrence) The Long earred Owl's nesting time frame is between mid-March until May... and since 'pairs' are being seen in the area, and the time of year.
I am one of the very glad birders who got to view it, and agree respect and no habitat distrubance to be shown upon them. The owl however, seemed very calm while roosting, and even preened.
