Who ever takes the Screech Owl must have a permit to keep it.  I will check 
down hear and get back to you.  It won't hurt anything to keep it in the 
freezer up to one year if wrapped tight - all the air is out.

I have a dead Screech Owl I picked up down near Milford DE last week. It is

Red Phase. Would any of you skin collectors be interested in it for your
collections? It is in great shape. I see no signs of damage to the bird
