This morning Ralph Cullison led a group around the lake. Waterfowl of note were 2 HORNED GREBES, 3 PINTAILS, 1 WIDGEON,6 BUFFLEHEAD and 3 flyover COMMON MERGANSERS.
Flyover OSPREY was a year first for everyone and an adult BALD EAGLE was a treat.
Not too many passerines in the cold wind but we did have half a dozen PHOEBES. 6 AMERICAN PIPITS on the ground by the dam were unusual for the park. 7-8 FOX SPARROWS, SWAMP, SONG and WHITE-THROAT.
