This morning at home a pair of Mallards visited my bird feeder, picking up seeds that had fallen to the ground. Also, a Mourning Dove collecting nesting material across the street and carrying it into a spruce.
This afternoon at Freedom Park in Sykesville about 160 Robins and 55 Pipits were working the ball fields for food. Also seen there were three Savannah Sparrows and a Fox Sparrow. The pipits and Savannahs were my first of the spring.
