Hi all, I made a quick stop into Elkton Marsh this afternoon. 4:30-5pm.
Remarkable how many Killdeer there were. Also a Northern Harrier was carrying
a dead Crow around until he found a spot where he was comfortable eating it.
It was already half gone when I saw him struggling to air lift the crow carcass
up. Here is the list of birds of interest.

Pied-billed Grebe 2
Common Merganser 1
Black Duck 33
Mallard 24
Green-winged Teal 89
Wilson Snipe 26
Killdeer 22
Greater blackbacked Gull 2
Herring Gull 1
Ring-billed Gull 20
Coopers Hawk 1
Northern Harrier 2
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1

Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace fly over's
30 Pintail
25 Tundra Swans
2 Tree Swallows
2 Bonaparte's Gulls on the Susquehanna River. Bone's have been absent for
most of the winter from the Harford/Cecil area. I guess they are starting North
now. It would be a good time to keep an eye out for the Little Gull that may
come passing thru. I don't have a lot of luck with Little Gull. My only one in
Maryland was sitting in the first parking lot on Assateague Island beach side,
about 10 years ago.
