Today I went from Snow Hill to Pocomoke City on the north side of the river.
First I stopped at Milburn St park. birds that I saw are below.
8 Pine Warblers
6 Blue Gray Gnatcatchers
2 Hermit Thrush
1 Barred Owl
2 Pileated Woodpeckers
1 Brown Headed Nuthatch
1 Bald Eagle
1 Hairy Woodpecker
1 Red Shouldered Hawk
2 Ruby Crowned Kinglets
4 Turkey vultures
1 Black Vulture
2 Red tailed Hawks
7 Tufted Titmice
9 Carolina chickadees
2 White breasted nuthatches
Also I spotted a racoon walking on the road then claimed into a hollow tree.
Next I found a marsh with a old wind mill in the middle of a field along
McMaster RD Spur near RT 364 and Whitesburg RD. I walked along the marsh and the
birds I saw are listed below.
4 Horned Larks
6 Killdeer
2 Bald Eagles
12 White Throated Sparrow
12 Green Wing Teal
10 Doves
5 Turkey Vultures
5 Red Wing Blackbirds
50+ Snipe (who were flying from the fields and back into the marsh. They
were circling all around me)
