I saw that pair of Chukars again last evening (Friday, Marxh 30th) on
Canvasback Rd in Havre de Grace.  I had my camera with me this time and I

PS Do any non-owls make the "who cooks for you" sound?  I was in El Paso, TX
most of this week and during the one short birding stop I made, I heard a
bird make a song with that tempo, but without the throaty, raspy tone of a
barred owl.  I have heard several barred owls, so I do know what they sound
like.  I did not see the bird that was making this noise- do any doves or
other smaller birds sound like that?
