There were 3 Pine Warblers, 2 singing males and 1 female at Riley's Lock this morning. The Louisiana Waterthrush was singing near the western end of the turning basin. There were 3 Horned Grebes very close to shore as well as 3 Pied Billed Grebes.

Violette's Lock had a flock of 35 Cormorant and 3 female Hooded Mergansers.
