Hi all,
   
    This morning I got a chance to make a quick birding trip on Blue Mash in Laytonsville.  Many birds were singing.  Here's a quick list I jotted down:
   
   1 Eastern Meadowlark (heard accross Zion Rd)
  30+ Purple Grackles
  8 Eastern Bluebirds
  Turkey Vulture
  Black Vulture
  1 Red tail Hawk
  Canada Geese (several)
  Tree Swallows (many)
  Field Sparrow
  Song Sparrows
  Crows (fish & common)
  6 Bufflehead (large pond)
  9 Ringnecked ducks
  2 Rufous sided Towhees
  2 Mockingbirds
  1 Palm Warbler (wouldn't come out)
   
  D.Ford/bethesda
