Leupold backs up rifle scopes with incredible service and they probably 
get a whole lot more abuse (from recoil if not from dropping) than 
binoculars. My Nikon Venturer (now have a new name) bins have never 
needed repair (well, I did reglue a logo) but I suspect they also stand 
behind them with excellent service.
