It may be a hoax or urban legend, but nonetheless, I DID get
a telemarketing voice mail message left on my cell phone two
days ago (offering to refinance my mortgage). I suppose that
if it happens again, I should write down the caller's name and
phone number and report it to the FTC.

I also have a belated birding report. Last Saturday (March 31)
my husband and I took our four-year-old grandson (a beginning
birder) on a "bird walk" at Jug Bay (on the PG County side).
It was cool and windy and not very birdy. Besides the nesting
Ospreys, we saw a fly-by Wood Duck and a Greater Yellowlegs.
Best of all was my FOY Forster's Terns. A small group of
them were lounging on the mudflats out from the boat ramp.
It was nice to see them.
