With no school today I was able to visit the New Windsor wetlands behind the middle school:
Canada Goose nest with 6 eggs
Green-winged Teal 15
Killdeer 1
Snipe 35, the most I have seen here
Phoebe 1
Yellow Palm Warbler 1

Little Pipe Creek Park in Union Bridge:
Canada Goose 2
Killdeer 1
Snipe 11
Rough-winged Swallow 2
Swamp Sparrow 1

Piney Run Park, with the lake drawn down I wanted to check the mudflats for shorebirds however there were none. I only had time to look at the upper part of the lake. The consolations:

Black Duck 3
Mallard 7
Green-winged Teal 16
Bufflehead 2 females
Hooded Merganser 2, a pair, they have nested here the past two years
Common Merganser 5 females
Red-breasted Merganser 1 female
Ruddy Duck 6
Common Loon 2
Pied-billed Grebe 3
DC Cormorant 22
Great Blue Heron 1
Coot 17
Bonaparte's Gull 18
Ring-billed Gull 6
Purple Martin 1 male, my first of the year
Tree Swallow 10
Rough-winged Swallow 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
