Yesterday around 6:30 p.m., I saw a male Long-tailed Duck in the Potomac River, about 20 feet from the "Virginia" shore, between Memorial Bridge and 14th Street Bridge.  The shape, size and black/white patterning were unmistakeable.  Sorry for the late posting.
