Saturday the ocean was so calm. Had a few minutes to step out on the 
balcony to look around. The Pond was filled with loons. Singles and in rafts  of 
6-12. Must have seen at least 100 all around. Then mid dayish, I am in the 
condo's annual meeting, look out side and a flock of gannats fly by. must have 
been about 8 or so. I had seen some earlier so I wasn't surprised but so close 
and with out any nocs, or scope. I have had third thoughts about Pelicans, we 
were in a heated discussion about the roof. Think its too early for them though.

Coming home on Sunday, going over the bay bridge, must have seen 8 osprey. 
they were everywhere.

Sunday was such a waste. And I am too much a fair weather birder to go 
down to the inlet. lol.  It was a good day to snuggle up with a honey, a good 
book,  some coffee, and watch the ocean and the storm.
