Hello all.

I checked out a few spots in northern Anne Arundel County today and despite 
the wind, found a few highlights, including a nice convergence of Hermit 
Thrushes at Weinberg and 2 Little Blue Heron and 1 Great Egret at Kembo Road.

Weinberg Park:

Wood Duck: 2 females on the pond 
Scaup sp: 10+  On Rock Creek
Ruddy Duck: 170+  Still huddled up on Rock Creek
Double-crested Cormorant: 80+  On 'White Rocks'
Turkey Vulture: 2
Black Vulture: 2
Ring-billed Gull: 1
Herring Gull: 6
Great-black Backed Gull: 3 'White Rocks'
Caspian Tern: 2 Fast flyovers in the wind
Osprey: 1
Golden-crowned Kinglet: 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 4
Hermit Thrush: 6  At one point, four were in the same shrub
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 1
Pine Warbler: 2
Palm Warbler: 1 yellow
Eastern Towhee: 4
White-throated Sparrow: 12 

Kembo Road:

Great Blue Heron: 1
GREAT EGRET: 1 flyover
LITTLE BLUE HERON: 2  Wet area across from Under Armour Bldg.
Northern Harrier: 1 Perched in a low snag 
Brown Thrasher: 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 4  All foraging around the first water impoundment
Eastern Phoebe: 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler: 3
Palm Warbler: 1 yellow
Eastern Towhee: 1
