This morning a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER sang vigorously for at least half an hour (8:30-9) in the stretch between the powerline cut and Blockhouse Point before he let us see him, high in a sycamore, as expected. At least one NORTHERN PARULA was singing along the entrance road to Pennyfield. Along the towpath there were several LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHES. Some Yellow-rumps, too, of course, and a Palm or two.
