Dear All

A group of folk, mostly from Audubon, are doing a Birdathon in DC tomorrow,
Saturday. We are aware that it is too early to get a big day list but we are
still keen to see as much as we can. We would be grateful if people would
make contact with sightings during the day tomorrow or give advice on where
we might see key species located recently (see below). Anyone is very
welcome to join us for all or any part of the itinerary. Our agenda is roughly
as follows:

Rock Creek Maintence Yard/ Ridge
Hains Point
Roosevelt Is
Fletcher's Boatyard
Possibly somewhwre to look for raptors
Kenilworth Aquatic Gdns and local Anacostia
Arboretum

We will doubtless twiddle the timetable as we go along so do call me on my
cellphone (202 492 8304) or email me as I will collect email on the hoof during
the day.

In particular we are interested in advice in particular on YC Night Heron and
any owls seen/heard reliably in the last few weeks (do contact off list if this is
preferable).

Does anyone have contact for Denise Ryan? I tried her email but it bounces.

Thanks for your help in advance. We will let you all know how we get on.

Cheers

Gary Allport
