Two quick highights from pontoon boat trip up to Skimmer Island and down Assateague (as part of Delmarva Birding Festival) from the Talbot Street pier in Ocean City:

Common Eider (1, imm. m.) along north end of Assategue, among short jetty segments west of main south jetty..

Gull-billed Tern (1) in flight and briefly perched at "Wilson's Plover flats" on north end of Assateague.  Third time we have had them on this late April boat trip.
