There were a number of spring arrivals at Schoolhouse Pond this morning.
Two Northern Parula were singing along the backside of the pond. Two White-
eyed Vireo were singing in the understory around the pond, and one Wood
Thrush was heard in the background. Also of note was the male Eastern
Bluebird continuing near the rear platform. Other singing birds included
Goldfinch, Phoebe, 4 Cowbirds (3 males and 1 female), and 8 Cedar Waxwings.

Other birds seen were four Great Egrets on the mudflats, 1 flyover Greater
Yellowlegs, and much reduced numbers of flyover gulls (382 Laughing Gulls, 38
Ring-billed Gulls, and 12 Herring Gulls). There were no flyover Bonies or Loons
this morning that I saw.
