Fran and I trucked on over to the intersection of Lewistown Rd &
Covey's Landing Rd in northeastern Talbot County this morning where
we were able to locate the male Ruff, an American Golden Plover,
several Pectoral Sandipers, a few Dunlin, a pair of Wilson's Snipe,
and some Least Sandpiper. There were also exactly 121 (by Kevin
Graff's count) Yellowlegs, about 90% Greaters.

We left there about 11:30 and the birds seemed to be settling in for
a long afternoon's feed-up.

It was good to see Leo Weigant and Kevin Graff there and the fellow
who has just relocated to Tilghman Island from New Jersey (forgot
your name.sorry).

Best,
Norm
