Hi Everyone,

As George wrote earlier, a party of the almost-sane will be taking part in a Charles Co. Birdathon (i.e., Big Day) to raise money for the preservation of Cerulean Warbler wintering habitat. George Jett, Gwen Brewer, Tom Feild, and I will spend midnight to midnight on Cinco de Mayo searching for as many bird species as possible in Charles Co., Maryland. We're asking for pledges on a per-species basis or as a flat donation. Simply e-mail George Jett () with your pledge or donation, or contact me if George scares you. ;) I understand the record for this count is 131, so naturally I want to shoot for 150.

You can read more about this Bird Conservation Alliance effort at the following flyer:

If you want to harass your coworkers and friends, by all means feel free to print the following pledge sheet and send us your results:

Many thanks in advance to all who contribute to this great cause.

Best,

Bill
