The "eastern section" of the ACLT today --
   
   lots of chipping sparrows, my FOY house wren, two pairs pileated woodpeckers, FOY yellow-throated vireo, solitary vireo, ovenbirds, hooded warbler, Louisiana waterthrush, blue-gray gnatcatchers, northern parulas, scarlet tanager.
   
  Some showy orchis in bud, and the first leaves of lady slipper pushing through the leaf litter  
   
  I managed to fall over a log and raise  a few butterflies: Spring azure, tiger swallowtail, and FOY duskywing, (but i have no idea which)...
