Dear all,

One of the regular participants in the Patterson Park bird walks, Mike Hudson aged 11, has started a club at his school dedicated to saving the Red Knot. I went to talk to the club a couple of months ago and was impressed with their commitment. They are sending letters to the Secretary of the Interior calling for the species to be listed under the Endangered Species Act and have set up a website at <http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeu3rwf>.

Mike would like a photo of a Red Knot to put on their website. Can any of you photographers out thee donate a photo or two for this cause? I will persuade him to keep the drawing up on the site in addition to the photos.

Thanks!

Dave
