Blue Mash Nature Trail, Zion Road Section, Montogomery County, 0730-0945,
28 Apr 07

A belated post from a Saturday walk around the BMNT with John Pangborn.
Birds of note included a Green Heron & Spotted Sandpiper (and a beaver) on
the outside pond, House Wren, 1-Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Gray Catbird, Yellow
Warbler & Common Yellowthroat. Sparrows still abound with 7 species
observed: E. Towhee, Chipping, Field, Savannah, Song, Swamp & White-
Throated (a flock of 25 or so).

A walk along Tridelphia Road today netted an E. Meadlowlark singing atop a
fence post and a White-crowned Sparrow along the fenceline.
