Saw my foy BLACKPOLL at the Arboretum today in the same tree as one of the two BLUE-WINGED warblers seen. Other warblers: many YELLOW RUMPS, PALM, AMERICAN REDSTART, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, OVENBIRD (hd only), BLACK AND WHITE (hd only), BLACK THROATED BLUE, NORTHERN PARULA, YELLOW, BLACK THROATED GREEN (hd only), WORM EATING (hd only). A brief stop at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens also produced a PROTHONOTARY.

Also at the Arboretum were several WOODTHRUSH, VEERY (1), several HERMIT THRUSH, SCARLET TANAGER, GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER, YELLOW BILLED CUCKOO, ORCHARD ORIOLE, a large flock of CEDAR WAXWING, and several BROWN THRASHERS and CATBIRDS. Other interesting birds at Kenilworth AG were INDIGO BUNTING, OSPREY, BARN SWALLOW, and BALD EAGLE (imm.). Another birder there reported seeing both solitary and spotted sandpipers.
