I hadn't heard the BOBWHITE since late last summer, so I assumed the
worst.  But this afternoon while visiting GREENBURY POINT, I heard BOB
loud and clear calling from the regular spot.

Now, if only folks would leash their dogs...

On a side (somewhat unrelated) note, my four-month old Golden
Retriever is named, "Oiseau."  This afternoon while playing in the
back yard, I caught him drinking, from of all things... the birdbath.
He enjoys watching the two SONG SPARROWS that spend their days outside
the back patio door in the yard.  What's more, he seems to be able to
spot the newly arrived HOUSE WREN singing even before I can get an eye
on him. Oiseau is truly living up to his name.
