Nancy and I went to Big Pool today to familiarize ourselves with the area
before the May Count. The highlights were a singing Least Flycatcher, our
first of the year Chestnut-sided Warbler, a group of 10 Rusty Blackbirds,
and a Yellow-breasted Chat. Altogether 60 species and a good walk.
