The Rose-breasted Grosbeak show continued this evening (Thurs.).

ACT I: Still had 3 males and as best as I can tell just a single female.
The show tonight was down right gaudy (Love was in the air, literally).
Observed from 5 - 7:30 p.m., these three studs were falling all over
themselves for one lucky lady (I'm sure that's debatable). In fact these
dudes were getting downright crazy. They didn't care if I was in the yard
or not. At first I didn't know what was going on. I was watching the three
males going about some normal yard work - then they split in a hurry (no
other birds moved). I followed them moving to another window and found
there excitement. The single female showed up and these guys were beside
themselves. Posturing, pushing, fluttering and crowding to give Ms. RB
Grosbeak a better view. Of the tree males, one is a first spring, one is a
little underdressed (handsome in the bird world, a little less so in the RB
Grosbeak world), and the third is perfect; rosy, crisp and bold.

ACT II: After all of the initial excitement, one of the males was now
feeding or kissing or something with the female. Yep - it was Mr. Perfect.
